Anna Maria has had a special place in our heart of many reasons! At the southern point of the island there are plenty of free parks on the beach to park and have a family picnic at, the middle of the island is perfect to see manatee swimming past during the summer months, and the more northern part has great restaurants, ice cream shops, rentals, piers, and Joel's favorite beach (Bean Point).

The reason that Florida locals love to take their vacations on Anna Maria is the down to earth and relaxed vibes this place give off. You will not find skyscrapers on this island and most motels look similar to houses making it feel like a hidden gem. Renting a house to stay at is THE BEST option and gives you the most bang for your buck!

If you love Mexican then this is going to be the only place you ever want to at for the rest of your life! We found this place by walking by and smelling their food and since then we stop by any chance we get. We recommend getting their Corn Quesadilla with pork! AMAZING!!!!! And did we mention that they make everything fresh with quality ingredients? !
